BISCUITS LECLERC

INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION IN QUEBEC CITY

construction-usine-chocolat-biscuits-leclerc

Construction of a food factory

The project consisted in demolishing a section of the existing building and expanding and constructing a chocolate factory, used for making cookies. A refitting of the existing factory was also carried out to adapt it to its new vocation as well as the office spaces.

The building, with a 50-feet high steel structure and industrial design, has two floors and very complicated process mechanics.

Among the challenges, there were the coordination of works with plant operations, the winter conditions for the works, as well as the height of the building and the limited space around it.

Spaces are now occupied by Laura Secord.
