Expansion and renovation of a fire-station

As part of this project, our team carried out the expansion and the renovation of the existing fire station in order to allow the municipality to modernize its facilities and improve its services to the population.

The new spaces allowed the addition of an extra area as well as three new garage doors. We also find a new layout for administrative offices, living spaces for firefighters and an intervention and training room.

In order to carry out the work, our team first started by carrying out the two extensions (on each side of the existing building), before completing the selective demolition of the existing building. Subsequently, we carried out the interior work, while completing the exterior cladding.

The main challenge (common to this type of project) was dealing with the surprises one might find in the existing building as the curettage went on.
