This construction project was carried out on a turnkey basis for the “base building” and on a fixed price basis for the fit-out contract with Uniprix.
One of the peculiarities of this project was that we should not interfere with the operations of the neighboring motel during construction. An access road had to be preserved. The sanitary sewer, water and electricity services had to be deviated and no cut of services could be tolerated.
As the basement of the building serves as office and warehouse spaces, a pumping system for the sanitary network was required.
Uniprix also contracted us for the interior fit-out of the pharmacy. It was important to harmoniously coordinate the work of their subcontractors such as the installation of the warehouse and store displays, decoration, etc. as well as the work of our own subcontractors.
